Welcome to my Cybersecurity E-Portfolio! My name is Morgan Brown, and I am currently a senior Cybersecurity major at Old Dominion University. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have developed an interest in cybersecurity as both a technical discipline and a field shaped by social, legal, and policy-related considerations.

My coursework has introduced me to cybersecurity programming and networking, Linux systems, cyber strategy and policy, cybercriminology, and cyber law. These areas have helped me build a foundation for understanding digital threats from both technical and societal perspectives. Through my involvement in Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) and the Cyber Security Student Association (CS2A), I aim to expand my knowledge, connect with others in the field, and explore professional opportunities. I am also preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification to further strengthen my foundational cybersecurity knowledge.

This e-Portfolio showcases my academic projects, developing technical skills, and continued growth as an aspiring cybersecurity professional. As I approach graduation, I look forward to applying what I have learned, gaining hands-on experience, and exploring opportunities that combine my interests in cybersecurity, cybercrime, law, and policy. About Me

Beyond my academic and professional interests, I am a lifelong resident of the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. As a primarily online student and commuter at Old Dominion University, I have learned to balance my academic responsibilities with my personal life while developing independence, discipline, and time-management skills. Although my online learning experience offers flexibility, it has also motivated me to seek opportunities to connect with others, expand my professional network, and become more involved in the cybersecurity community.

As I approach graduation with my bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, I am focused on continuing to grow both personally and professionally. My goals include strengthening my technical knowledge, gaining hands-on experience, preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification, and exploring career opportunities that align with my interests in cybersecurity, cybercrime, law, and policy.
