Hello, welcome to my e-portfolio! This is my first time maintaining an e-portfolio, so I am in a learning process. I am Daniel, I transferred from Tidewater Community College for a bachelors in cybersecurity. I am originally from Togo, a country of French speaking, and I am still working on improving my English. I am a Navy veteran and a full-time network specialist. As it is never too late to learn new skills, I found it necessary to orient myself towards cybersecurity in order to master the core concepts of the field, like network security, cryptography, and risk management, while staying current with the latest technological trends and threats, and also to develop practical skills through hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios. Gaining industry-recognized certifications in the cybersecurity field is also a must for me.  Ultimately, I intend to graduate from ODU with the technical knowledge, and practical abilities to begin a successful career in this rapidly evolving field.
