I am currently 19 years old and a sophomore at Old Dominion University, with a major in cybersecurity. I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and spent most of my life in Carrollton. I developed an interest in computers at a young age, where I would play video games with my father or watch videos on my tablet. As I grew up, I looked forward to the many coding classes I took throughout elementary school, and I took many different technology focused classes in high school. It is here, within the cybersecurity courses I took with my friends, that I discovered my desire for a cybersecurity driven career.
Nowadays, I still find myself tinkering with computer systems for a multitude of reasons, and I tend to enjoy modifying and scrutinizing my favorite video games. I have always been surrounded by computers, whether it be at home, at school, and even at work, where I operate the audio and visuals at a local church. My ultimate goal is to achieve a master’s degree in cybersecurity, and specialize in penetration testing, cyber defense, and general white-hat hacking. In my spare time, I enjoy gaming, drawing, and listening to music.
