Welcome to my Leadership ePortfolio

My name is David Mendoza, and I am a Leadership major with professional experience as a collegiate wrestling coach, formerly a decorated college athlete, personal trainer, business entrepreneur, and special education educator. This portfolio presents a concise view of how I design, lead, and evaluate learning and performance environments in both athletic and educational settings.

Here you will find three core, market-ready skills—research and critical thinking, instructional planning and training design, and communication and leadership—each illustrated through curated artifacts from coursework, coaching, and professional practice. Together with my updated coaching résumé and a capstone reflection, these materials demonstrate an interdisciplinary foundation that draws from business, management, education, psychology, philosophy, and sport science to support high-impact leadership roles in college athletics and higher education.

Thank you for visiting. Whether you are an employer, faculty member, or professional colleague, I invite you to explore these examples of my work to see how I integrate data-informed decision making, athlete and student development, and digital communication to advance team performance and student success.
