Greetings, I am Devon Callis, a freshman at Old Dominion University with the classification year of twenty-twenty three. I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, just about 90 miles away from ODU. I choose Old Dominion University considering the distance, diverse campus, as well as the comfort. One of the courses I have this semester is University 150, which is a class based on a score from the writing sample placement test, better known as WSPT. In this class, I’ve learned how to write and format essays correctly, write journals, and improve my grammar.
