About Me

Hi! I’m Deanna. I am currently majoring in Human Services with a minor in psychology. I am very passionate about mental health and working with children. This has led me to pursue a career working with children, teens, and families in the counseling area. I hope one day to open my own office as well as travel and offer my services around the world to less fortunate children. I feel as if children really need someone they can talk to and help them through whatever circumstances they may face. I currently work in a Christian school with pre-schoolers. I am the lead teacher of the class and I absolutely enjoy every second of it. I always like to find fun and relatable activities for the children as well as teach them new things. In my free time, I love to go on walks, play volleyball, watch movies and go on adventures out of town. I am very passionate about traveling and my top place to visit is Africa! I cannot wait to visit the gorgeous continent and explore it respectfully.
