A Brief Introduction

Welcome! My name is Gabrielle Decastro and I am a Graduate student at Old Dominion University. I am a former Special Eduction Teacher but I am now pursuing my masters in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology full-time. I received my Bachelors of Science from Old Dominion University in 2016 with a major in Speech-Language Pathology and a minor in Sociology. My passion for education, well-being, and people in general combined with the challenges I have experienced as a second generation Filipinx-American woman and trauma survivor has given me a unique vision for how I want to make an impact moving forward. Furthermore, my experiences has lent me some tools underneath my belt to make that vision happen.
