Hello! My name is Thomas DeVivo, I am 21 years old and live in Martinsville, Va.  I really enjoy spending as much time as I can in the outdoors. I love to go fishing, kayaking, swiming, camping, and pretty much anything esle dealing with nature. I also like to play soccer, I played for my middle school soccer team as well as two years of Jv and one year of Varcity soccer for my high school. Band was a big part of my life and still is; starting in middle school I started playing the clarinet for the school band and in high school I played for the marching band and the symphonic band. During high school, I also learned  how to played the bassoon and the bass clarinet. Currently, I am trying to self teach myself how to play the violin. After I graduated high school, I got accepted into what was at the time my dream school: Virginia Tech. I was enrolled in General Studies while I was at Tech with the hopes of transferring in to the engineering school. After my freshman year at Tech, I realized that engineering was not for me so I decided to trasnfer to Patrick Henry Community College to finish my Associates Degree. Making this decision allowed myself more time to figure out what I wanted to major in and what school I wanted to go to. I ended up taking a psychology class while I was at PHCC and loved it. Currently, I am taking classes at ODU and majoring in psychology. I am taking this course to help widen my knowledge of what psychology is all about. My current goal is to graduate from ODU with a degree in psychology and beyond graduation my goal is to serve in the US Air Force as an officer.
