I am currently on the path to further my education by pursuing a degree in Psychology. My goals for the future include finishing my bachelor’s and then continuing my studies by working on a Master’s in education. While I haven’t decided exactly what I want to do, I know that I would like to work with students in public education either as a Special Education teacher or possibly as a School Psychologist. While I am specifically taking this course to fulfill my degree requirements I am also very interested in the course on a personal level. Pursuing a psychology related career seemed like a good fit since it is my favorite subject to learn about. As a student with learning disabilities, my interests in psychology are also founded in a personal interest to better understand myself and others. I hope to take what I learn in this course to help others who have similar learning styles.
