Hi. My name is Jessica DiPace. I am 35 yrs. old, and I am married with 2 kids (ages 9, and 11). I am a veteran from the Air Force, and I currently drive an elementary school bus. I have had the opportunity to travel around the world due to my husband and my military tour. I have lived in Okinawa, Japan, Ankara, Turkey, NM, LA, and VA. I love learning about different cultures and having new experiences. I am a junior currently working on my Psychology bachelor’s degree at ODU.

My life revolves around elementary age children. My job, kids, and after school activities involve children 3-11 years old. I am considering a career in the area of elementary adolescent children. I have not determined what specific area I will focus on in a future career area. I am still looking at my options. I am taking this course because it seems interesting, and I am hoping to be able to use it to apply to everyday life. I enjoy learning about why people do the things they do, and how culture relates to a person’s reasoning.
