A Little About Me
There are many things that pique my interest, but few things make I am passionate about. One of those passions is security – not just cyber security. I served 11 years in the Marine Corps (2009 – 2020), five years as a Machine Gunner and six years in Special Operations. During my time in the military I recognized the importance of security, and now that I am out of the service I have a more holistic view of how security should be done – this includes cyber security. After my time in the military, I worked as a signature reduction and Identity Management technician for a national asset. During that time I was able to gain an understanding of signal capabilities as well as mobile security and AdTech data. Since then, I have pivoted to networking in a Network Administrator role which is where I currently serve. I love my job for the mere fact that learning is seemingly limitless!
