My career journey began in 1989 and has covered various roles within the dental office. I started as a receptionist, became a dental assistant, and later a dental hygienist. I initially worked as a receptionist in a single-dentist practice. My interest led me to gain experience as a dental assistant, and I even completed a radiography course to become a certified radiography dental assistant. After several years in this role, I pursued a dental hygiene license by returning to school. My goal is to share my wealth of experience and knowledge by educating future dental hygienists, so I am currently back in school, working towards achieving that objective. I am passionate about dentistry, especially preventive dental care. I am invested in exploring new technologies and techniques that can enhance patients’ overall oral health. My research aims to contribute to advancing dental hygiene practices and the quality of care provided to patients. I will keep myself updated with the latest developments in dental research and integrate evidence-based practices into my work. |
