Welcome to my Portfolio!
I graduated from Kennedy King College in 2000 with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I practiced clinical dental hygiene for 16 years but returned to Northern Arizona University and received my Bachelor’s in 2018. In 2019 I became adjunct faculty at Prairie State College, where I found my true calling. I am currently a student at Old Dominion University, where I am pursuing my Master’s Degree. I will graduate in 2023.
After completing my Master’s degree, I will pursue my doctorate. I will use my education and knowledge of Dental Hygiene to become an Associate Professor. After providing service as an Associate Professor, I will seek to become the Director of a Dental Hygiene Program. As I further in my career, I will assist in research to better understand how different medications affect the oral cavity. I have included my CV, teaching philosophy, syllabus, lesson plan, power points, and evaluations for you to review my teaching abilities.
