About Me

Hello, I’m currently a Freshman enrolled at Old Dominion University seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.

Participating in the Cybersecurity Program has deepened my understanding of the CIA Triad Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. Through case studies, and real-world simulations, I’ve seen how each component plays a critical role in protecting digital assets. I’ve also learned a greater understanding of Linux systems in cybersecurity and the functions of commands in an operating system.

These experiences showed how cybersecurity is a strategic business imperative. In today’s digital economy, a single breach can impact customer trust, disrupt operations, and damage brand reputation. I’ve seen firsthand how proactive security measures like employee training, and  safeguard business assets and foster resilience.

Personal and Professional Goals
My journey through the Cybersecurity Program has aligned with  professional aspirations to become a cybersecurity analyst working in the United States Coast Guard and eventually a career in the FBI. The program has equipped me with both the technical skills and the strategic mindset needed to protect organizations against cyber-threats.

On a personal level, I want to be part of the solution helping businesses not only defend against threats but also build cultures of security awareness. Whether I’m designing secure systems or educating users, I aim to contribute to a safer digital world.
