Hello! My name is Dorian Jones and I am currently studying to get my Bachelors in Cybersecurity. I am building this site to be able to share my cybersecurity projects and show off my hard work. I have always enjoyed technology and I am currently working to achieve a Security+ certification from CompTIA to go along with my bachelors degree. I am currently seeking out an internship to gain real world experience. Some areas in cybersecurity that excite are ethical hacking, network security, SOC analyst roles, malware analyst roles, and security engineer roles. Cybersecurity matters to me because I want to be able to make technology safe for myself and others, I have a personal interest in technology and have always had some sort of an affinity for it. A few personal hobbies and interests of mine include gaming, sports but mainly football and basketball, cats, and just technology in general. I’ve built many gaming computers for myself and friends, I have also recently started my own personal homelab. Currently I have a desktop that I have built powered by a 9900x running proxmox. I hope to pursue a career in cybersecurity where I can keep organizations and individuals safe online.
