This portfolio contains content related to my Spanish learning experiences. Learning to speak Spanish will improve my career, especialIy since I’m wanting to work with children in the social work path. Spanish will help expand the population of people/children that I can help. I think learning to speak Spanish in any career would be very helpful. Speaking Spanish could also benefit the trust of someone who does speak Spanish.

I hope to become more comprehensible with this language at least for the basics and gain the knowledge of another langauge more effectively during Spanish 101. Once I have the basics, I think I will be set until it is in my best interest to furthermore my studying of the language. Learning Spanish will not only help me in my career, but also with my friends that are known of that language. In this portfolio, I’ve included reflections of my experiences learning Spanish, showcasing my proficiency in the language in reading, writing, and speaking.
