About Me

My name is Dicia Rivera Chavez and I am a Nursing Major at Old Dominion University. I am currently a part of the Living Learning Community for the Health Sciences College at ODU. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia and I Graduated from Forest Park High School.

I chose to attend ODU because of the amazing Nursing program and for the feeling of being Home. I took a tour of ODU my Junior year in High School and as soon as I took my first few steps on the ODU campus I knew that this was where I belonged. The campus offers me a very diverse and new look on my education and future.

My hobbies would include listening to music, hanging out with friends and taking naps. I am always open to listening to new music and I enjoy having movie marathons with my friends and family. If I had to choose a favorite movie series it would have to be Harry Potter.

An interesting fact about me would be that I am a soccer player and I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I have traveled to different states to compete and I was recruited to play on the CCL United Team (Club Champions League) along with a few different offers from the national team for El Salvador.
