About Me
“Give, even if you only have a little.” – The Buddha
Everything happens for a reason. However, will dominates the fire of being. As a cybersecurity major my eagerness to understand the advancement of interconnected computer networks and its ability to transmit, process, and store information has propelled me into a career path that allows me to expand my ability and knowledge in network defense and infiltration.
Born in SE Washington, DC, attending Old Dominion University enhanced my professional and career development while simultaneously fostering my transition into adulthood. Being three hours (barring traffic) away from home forced me to strengthen skills such as communication, time management, and most importantly networking. Eventually, my networking granted me an internship oppurtunity with the Old Dominion Police Department during the Spring 2024 semester. The internship became the focal point of me determining my career focus.
The internship lasted from January 2024 – April 2024. During the internship, I gained a firsthand experience of the investigative process and the role information technology plays in obtaining and securing evidence. Law enforcement technology plays a vital role in gathering evidence from criminal investigations. My academic prowess combined with potential career experience in law enforcement will be the stepping towards my achievement in becoming the greatest information gatherer in the world.
