Hello! My name is Jillian Durham and i’m a student of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Currently, i’m seeking to obtain my Bachelors of Nursing with a minor in psychology.  I’ve always been told I have a gift of ‘helpfulness’, always going out of the way to help ones in need.  As a child I experienced some trauma in which had some affects on my cognitive and emotional development. I would like to dive a little deeper into learning about child psychology to learn in what ways, negatively or positively, have I been affected. My ultimate goal is to become a child psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, hoping to have my own practice eventually.
