WHAT I EXPECT:
Fluid mechanics is a branch of physics that deals with the study of fluids (liquids and gases) and their behavior under different conditions. In fluid mechanics, I expect to learn about the properties of fluids, such as viscosity, density, and pressure, and how these properties affect fluid flow.I will learn about the fundamental laws that govern fluid motion, including conservation of mass, momentum, and energy, and how to apply these laws to solve problems related to fluid flow.In addition, I would study various topics such as fluid statics, which deals with fluids at rest, and fluid dynamics, which deals with fluids in motion. I would also learn about different types of fluid flow, such as laminar and turbulent flow, and how to analyze and predict fluid behavior using mathematical equations and models. Finally, I would learn about practical applications of fluid mechanics in fields such as engineering, environmental science, and meteorology, where understanding fluid behavior is essential for designing systems and predicting natural phenomena.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR:
As you navigate throughout this website you will get to see what me and my classmates learned and did in class. You will see:
-TEST
In the test tab you will see the 3 tests we took throughout the semester and will be able to read a reflection I did on the test as well as corrections.
-COURSE LONG PROJECT
In the Project tab you will get a brief description about a semester long project we accomplished and as well as brief PowerPoint.
-HOMEWORK
In the HW tab under the assignments tab you will see the type of Homework completed me and my group accomplished and turned in.
-ABOUT ME
You will get to know a little about me. I will explain why I choose Old Dominion University and some other fun facts so definitely check it out.
The next couple pages you will learn a little more about the class and how I progressed through the class.
