About Me

My name is Elliot Mason, and I am a Cybercrime major at Old Dominion University graduating in December 2026. I previously earned my associate degree in Criminal Justice and am continuing my education with a focus on cybercrime investigations, cybersecurity, and digital forensics. My long-term career goal is to work in investigatory and forensic-focused roles related to online crimes and child exploitation investigations, ideally with organizations such as National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

This portfolio highlights the knowledge, technical skills, and interdisciplinary experiences I have developed throughout my academic journey. The artifacts included demonstrate my abilities in cybercrime investigation and threat analysis, risk management and security strategy, and technical communication and operational planning. Through coursework in cybersecurity, criminal justice, research, and business-related subjects, I have developed a broader understanding of how technology, human behavior, and organizational systems intersect within the field of cybercrime.

In addition to showcasing academic projects, this portfolio reflects my personal and professional growth as a student preparing to enter the cybersecurity and investigative fields. Each artifact represents not only the completion of coursework, but also the development of critical thinking, research, leadership, and analytical skills that will support my future career goals.
