Hi! My name is Emilee Hoskins, and I am currently attending Old Dominion University! I was born in Chesapeake, Virginia, and I have lived here basically all of my life. I chose ODU because it was close to home, a good price, and has a well-respected nursing program. Growing up, I always aimed to help others in any way I could. This is what started my interest in the medical field; specifically nursing. I love children and hope that in my future I am able to work with them. I have two older brothers, Joey and Josh, and three dogs. I love dogs! My dad is in the Navy, and my mom is a homemaker. I have played sports all my life, and I played softball from the time I was three all the way up to my senior year in high school. I love being active, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family. In my free time, I love playing with my dogs and taking them on walks. I have a miniature schnauzer, miniature poodle, and a miniature goldendoodle. As you can see, we love the minis! I also love going to country concerts throughout the summer with my friends. I went to four different concerts this summer and they were all so much fun.  Another thing that I love is the colder weather and being able to spend time outdoors without being too hot. The fall and winter are definitely my favorite times during the year. An ideal day for me would be taking my dogs on a walk in the cooler weather and listening to the wind blowing through the trees.
