My name is Emily Flynn and I am in my final year here at ODU! I am studying English with a concentration in technical writing. Due to several major changes over the years I do not have a minor, but if I did it would be in psychology since I studied it for my first two years of college! I plan to work as a contract specialist after graduation, preferably in a government agency. I transferred to ODU during the pandemic, and also had my wonderful son during that time! I love writing, but creative writing is not my strong suit which is how I ended up finding technical/ professional writing and finding my passion and future career! I’m excited to work hard this year and be able focus on classes that will help me in my future endeavors.
