Hello, my name is Pauline Criste and I am a student at Old Dominion University and I am in my senior year. I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. I recently finished my associates degree from Tidewater Community College and I continued my studies at Old Dominion University.

I was born in the Philippines but I grew up in different countries such as Singapore, England, and the United States. My current city is now the city of Chesapeake, VA.

Fun fact about me is that because I grew up in different areas of the world, I have grown an interest in traveling. I like experiencing different cultures and their food as well. I am also a mom of two dogs, a Shiba Inu and a Husky-Malamute. During my free time, I like to enjoy the outdoors and do watersports. During a rainy weather, I like to stay inside and play videogames.

I am determined to learn a lot from my cybersecurity courses because I value education and I am motivated to earn my degree in order to start my career in Cybersecurity.

For a great classroom experience, communication is the key. Building connections with my classmates and be in contact with my professor. Always set your priorities and be on time in submission and classes.
