Hi, I’m Tajae Bennett

I am currently a senior at Old Dominion University and I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Cybersecurity with a minor in Cybercrime. As a senior, I currently maintain a 3.77 G.P.A and my expected graduation is May 2023. To describe myself, I consider myself a hardworking, result-oriented, and industrious individual who is always seeking opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of others. My current goals include finding an internship in the Cybersecurity field where I can learn how the industry works and obtain a Security + certification before I graduate.

When it comes to entrepreneurship, I have firsthand experience on what it’s like to be an entrepreneur. I have started a resale business from home where I consistently list items for sale on different social media platforms. By starting this business, I have learned many skills that will help me in the future. The most important skill that I have learned is how to be creative in order to make a sale. At times sales will be slow, so creativity is essential in order to make your product appealing. Taking risks is another important trait I have learned from my online business that I can take into future endeavors. Without taking risks, a person or business will not have the opportunity to grow or expand. All the skills that I have learned in entrepreneurship can help me overcome whatever obstacles I might face that are preventing me from reaching my goals.
