Hello, and thank you for visiting my ePortfolio! My name is Marie Madeleine Anita Bekono, but most people call me Anita. I am a senior at Old Dominion University, majoring in cybersecurity, with a strong passion for technology and its potential to make the world a safer place. My journey into cybersecurity has been both challenging and rewarding, shaped by my curiosity about technology and my drive to protect sensitive information in an increasingly digital world.

Currently, I am on track to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity in December 2024, with honors. My academic journey has been fueled by hands-on experience in network security, ethical hacking, and digital forensics, as well as a deep understanding of the ethical and societal implications of technology.

Beyond academics, I am a self-motivated individual with diverse interests, including entrepreneurship, traveling, and helping others. I am also actively involved in caregiving and tutoring, which has shaped my ability to adapt, problem-solve, and lead in various capacities.

My current goals include securing a cybersecurity analyst position in the healthcare field, building innovative ventures such as my Digital Wellness App, and continuing to expand my expertise in areas like penetration testing and network security.
