My name is Meghan Nicole Fanning. Before attending Old Dominion University, I went to Tidewater Community College to obtain my Associates degree. My current academic goals are that I want to finish out my Bachelors degree before deciding if I want to continue on to graduate school to obtain my Masters degree. My major is in Communications with a minor in Psychology. I have always been very interested in social media related career fields, or anything dealing with people and customer service. This is due to me working in customer service since I was 16 and being involved in the performing arts most of my life.

My career goals are to possibly become a Public Relations Specialist and to be able to control all of the social media for a very successful company or corporation. Another career that would interest me would be Human Resources because I am great at talking to and working with people. I am taking Social Psychology in specific to further my knowledge on how to interact with people, and know more about the meaning behind their words. With Psychology as my minor, it interests me a lot because I love to learn about how the mind works, how people interact, the meaning behind their words or actions, and to learn more about their different thought processes. I want to learn all of this in order to become more successful in my career and to become even more of a people person than I already am. 🙂
