As a graduate student at Old Dominion University there are a few goals that I have aside from earning my Masters in dental hygiene. I have grown as an individual and a clinician. Prioritizing my time more efficiently to manage my work schedule and education. I am very passionate about teaching and sharing my passion of the dental field with other individuals; in hopes of others having the same dental passion and sharing within their community. I also strive to engage my community and assist in the education of the importance of oral health.
The skills that this program offers will allow me to have a better understanding of how to conduct research. Research is an important role of an instructor, and I am excited to identify what type of research will grab my attention so I can become an active researcher and share my findings with my future students.
