Hello, everyone! My name is Joann Francisco. I am currently a senior here at Old Dominion University, majoring in Psychology. I am taking this course as an elective, but also because I am interested in why and how people’s interactions with one another affects each person individually.

Being a first generation college student, I had set high goals for myself. After I graduate this coming December, I plan on studying for the MCAT and later apply to medical school. I have always been fascinated in women’s health, specifically reproductive health, as well as child labor and delivery. Because of this, it became a dream of mine to become a an Ob-Gyn one day and I intend to work hard to achieve that dream.
