In Fluid Mechanics I expect to learn the properties of fluids, and how to use that information in order to solve complex problems in the field of engineering. On this website you will find my Fluid Mechanics tests, test reflections, and homework that I have complete throughout the duration of the course.

Final Reflective Letter

My learning in this class has been demonstrated by my work on the tests I completed throughout the duration of the course. Fluid Mechanics is a very in depth topic, and there were places where I did struggle. I struggled with series pipeline systems, and the pump selection process. Once I saw the solutions to our tests I understood what I was doing wrong, and have done more work to make sure I understand everything properly. I felt I improved the most in assessing the information that was given to me in order to correctly solve the problems that Professor Ayala gave on his test. Fluid Mechanics will intersect with whatever career path I choose, whether it be the shipbuilding industry or the automotive industry, and I have been able to use the information I learned in this course in other classes that I taken. I could use this information in the future to design a fuel system in cars or to design an air conditioning system. I believe I will be using this information in the automotive or shipbuilding industry in order to design systems that are vital for automobiles and ships to function properly. If I were starting this class again, I would tell myself to seek help from Professor Ayala more, he is a great professor who is willing to help his students understand the material in whatever way he can.
