My name is Gunnar Cain. I am a psychology major and am exceptionally interested in developmental psychology. I am a supervisor for a Head Start program in Virginia, and have decided to finish my degree to gain a deeper understanding of the children and families we serve, as well as to provide a better overall program for them. Cross-Cultural Psychology is important to me because I serve a wide demographic of children. It is vital to understand cultural differences to provide the best possible mental health, educational, and community service resources that match our families needs.
