Hello! My name is Gabrielle Green, but I prefer Gabbi. I am from St. Mary’s County, Maryland. It’s a small town in southern Maryland and features the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Many people from this area never leave because they like the small town feel, but I chose different. Old Dominion was one of my top choices when I applied to colleges. As soon as I received my acceptance letter, I put down my admissions deposit. I have recently moved to the Virginia Beach area from Maryland to be closer to family and so I can commute to campus. I’m still learning my way around town, but I’m glad to live in a place where there are so many activities. Even though I prefer to read quietly and spend time with my cat, Oolong, I still like to drive around the Virginia Beach area to see what it offers. I am so excited to start this new chapter in my life at ODU’s beautiful campus!
