About Me

My name is Carson Guild. I am currently in my 2nd year studying music education at Old Dominion University. My primary instrument is saxophone and my secondary instrument is tuba. I started playing saxophone when I joined band in the 5th grade. I really loved playing so I stuck with it all the way through high school. During high school I had the honor of being put in many different leadership positions which led me to discover that I loved teaching and mentoring. This is why I choose to do music education. I can combine my love for music with my passion for teaching. My passion is what drives me to push myself as a student to do everything I can.
