Hello! My name is Lea Hamill, and I am a psychology major. My career goal is, after more school, to become a clinical psychologist. My interest in this career started when I was in middle school when I first began learning about different mental illnesses. Ever since then, abnormal psychology has been my favorite to study. Populations I would be interested in working with are children to teens, with an emphasis on mood, anxiety, and dissociative disorders.

Social psychology stood out to me because I believe it would help branch out my greater understanding of psychology as a whole. Being social creatures, people are very much so impacted by the people around them. Studying how we interact with each other will fill in key places in understanding how it is we function.
