Hello, my name is Tamara Hawkins. Like Tia and Tamera from the show Sister, Sister. I am an only child, originally from Charlottesville, VA. Back home all I have is my dad to make proud of, being a first-generation college student. I am a human service major with a focus on family and children. When first coming to ODU I started as a sociology major but decided to broaden my spectrum until I knew what I wanted to do. Besides that matter, I know I want to work with people to somehow make their life better. My current goals are a 4.0 GPA that I’ve been working on slowly but surely and simply staying true to myself through it all. College is difficult, many stresses and worries almost every day but having faith in yourself and God can bring you through anything! I am taking this course because I love the study of human behavior. The mind is such a complex mechanism and it fascinates me how we as humans apply ourselves in society psychologically.
