Here is a little bit about me. I am 23 years old and I am Hispanic and White. I was born in Smithfield, North Carolina and I lived in Clayton, North Carolina for 13 years until I moved up to Virginia. I am a full-time student at Old Dominion University and I’m majoring in Cybersecurity. The reason I chose this major is because of the technological side of things I find it very interesting. I built my own PC actually before I took up this major and experimented around and decide that cybersecurity is best for me. I am pushing towards getting a internship and hopefully getting hired after I graduate from college. I am in the Cybersecurity 200T class. This is my first cyber security class and I am very excited to learn more and more about it. Recently, I learned that Cybersecurity is in disciplinary, meaning that a lot of fields of study fall under Cybersecurity. I don’t have much experience in this field other than the research that I have done. I have started looking into the certifications that I will be hoping to get by next year. Here is more about me! I used to be a soccer player up until I was 19 years old, now I’m a gym fanatic. I am part of the Omicron Iota Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated at Old Dominion University. I have a very deep love for dancing and I am very family-oriented. My main hobbies are dancing and playing video games. I also am a content creator for video games on Twitch.
