Thank you for visiting my e-Portfolio!  This space will grow over the course of time and advancement in my coursework at Old Dominion University while pursuing a Cybersecurity M.S.  I will use this as a location to showcase my coursework.

A bit about me: I have over 15 years in the federal sector having served in a plethora of positions.  Currently, I work for the US. Department of Labor as a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner.  Some of my favorite cybersecurity-focused media consists of reports that come out of The Cyentia Institute.  I find them engaging pieces of work even for those, such as myself, that are fairly new in the cybersecurity space.  Each report answers the “why” security is important while showcasing up-to-date trends.  I also like to read and review Department of Justice and Security Exchange Commission filings as it pertains to cybercriminals, data breaches, and cyber incidents.

My leisure time often finds me attending little league baseball games for my youngest son, and re-visiting 80’s pop culture and media with my oldest son.  I am also a self-professed Star Wars junkie and I will use every opportunity to throw in a Star Wars quote within my research.
