My name is Anaiya Edwards and I am a senior at ODU majoring in Health Service Administration with a minor in management. I aspire to become a dental hygienist in the future, but enjoy public and community health. The internship that I’m doing is at Harmony at Oakbrooke in Chesapeake, Virginia. It is a senior living community that has independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Their mission and goal is that people deserve higher quality senior living options. The preceptor that I’m working with is Jennifer Stell who is the executive director at Harmony and has a BSW as well as a MBA. She has 15 years of experience in operations and community oversights.
