Greetings, reader! My name is Hoang Nguyen. Welcome to my portfolio.

English has always been a large area of interest for me, and for a long time it was nothing more than a hobby. But having switched from computer science to English as a major, I’m currently an undergraduate studying linguistics. My love of language has been present for much of my life and my friends often find themselves bored to tears when I go on one of my etymological rambles. I’m also a big proponent of embracing language changes.

In my free time I dabble in creative writing and graphic design, annoy my pet rats, and lose myself in role-playing video games. I also like to spend the night watching recommended videos on YouTube and finding myself somehow back at the original video three hours later. You, too, huh?
