About Me

Hello! My name is Payton Houghton, and I am a sophomore at Old Dominion University. I am a psychology major who also intends on double majoring in biology. I am taking Psyc 304 not only to satisfy my major requirements, but also because I find learning about the psychology behind people interacting very fascinating. I am a very curious person and enjoy exploring different aspects of psychology, especially correctional psychology.  Learning about psychology will also be very beneficial for me in achieving my career goals. In the future I plan to continue my education in graduate school and eventually apply my passion to become a correctional psychologist.

In my free time I love to hang with my friends and family. I am also a huge animal lover and frequently volunteer and the local humane society. I like to explore my creative side by drawing or painting. Finally, I love to relieve stress at the gym. I find working out helps me cool down and is a beneficial way to stay healthy.
