Hi everyone!
My name is Nicole Hounslow and this is my first semester at Old Dominion. I was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, and commute to campus. I recently graduated from TCC with my Associate’s Degree and look forward to these next couple of semesters at ODU. I am currently majoring in psychology with a minor in human services. I really enjoy learning about anything to do with psychology, it really fascinates me. When I graduate I plan on getting my master’s degree and eventually becoming a licensed clinical social worker (LSCW). Most of my friends tell me I am their unpaid therapist, so I feel like this career will be a good fit for me. I really enjoy helping people with their problems and understanding why they feel the way they do which led me to want to become an LSCW. Outside of school I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family when I can. I love to shop, cook, or go to the beach when I have any free time. I really look forward to this semester with all of you guys and am excited to learn about cross-cultural psychology!
