My name is Jack Tanner-Vigil, also referred to as Jack TV and teev

Some little things about me include

• Avid fan of the sports world
• A huge fan of the sports book (odds setting and the other Vegas intricacies)
• Former division 1 and 3 lacrosse recruit
• Former wrestler/BJJ athlete
• First year ODU student

The reason this class stood out to me, is a gimme for all members of this class; we want to make it big in sports media production.

The main reason I want to be a sports broadcaster is family related; in my family, we are all avid sports fans. Since my parents never listen to a single analyst or even read a single sports headline, I have always been their main source of sports media. This can obviously be frustrating trying to always fill them in on what’s new; so I devised a plan, if I can take what I love doing (talking about sports) and make it my career, I can hit two birds with one stone. Constantly keeping my parents and family up to date with the recent sports news, and finding a career I love.

Why do I find sports appealing??- I find this to be an open ended question

• Everyone that belongs to a professional, amateur or semi-pro sport has given their entire life to the sport that they love; there is no more inspiring story.
• The largest of highs and the lowest of lows can be found in sport
• The chaos that sport contains and regulates
• And last but certainly not least, THE DRAMA
  • The sheer amount of drama that these men and women create around themselves from playing a game is appalling
    • There is WAY too much drama for it to be bypassed and overlooked as irrelevant

With all of that being said, I hope you can find my blog to be a place that always has hot takes, solid stories stemming from new sports news, and a relaxing place to read about all of your favorite sports and athletes.
