I’m Breanna Jamison and transfer communications major from a community college in Martinsville, Virginia. While talking with my advisor he recommended some classes that he thought would suit me as well as my major and immediately this course caught my attention! I enjoy the study of leadership as well as what motivates those in the workplace. I am currently working in retail/ sales management. I am looking to move up in the company that I am currently with and hope I can do this by pursing my bachelor’s degree.

   Although, I spend a lot of time at work I do have other hobbies as well. I currently enjoy beekeeping and my fiancé has introduced me into kayaking as well. He is still trying to inform me that hiking is also fun, but I would rather be on the water. I am three semesters away from obtaining my degree. It has not always been easy. Originally, I was an education major and after two years and a year in the school system I knew it was time for a change. I am eagerly looking forward to the another semester!
