Hello, my name is Jaqua and I’m currently a cybersecurity major at Old Dominion University. I’m originally from Fredericksburg, VA and I served in the United States Navy for about six years. My experience in the military was amazing because we got to travel all around the world and I picked up a lot of useful skills. At the end of my contract in 2019 I used my GI Bill to take classes at my local community college and decided to attend ODU after graduation. I chose to be a cybersecurity major because I know how important technology will be in the future with everything we do.
