Hello, my name is Jacory Carter, and welcome to my ePortfolio. I am a senior at Old Dominion University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. I chose cybersecurity as a career path because I have developed a keen interest in information technology as society has quickly shifted to an era of technical applications and ideologies. Technology has always been something that caught my interest since a young age. Growing up, I was always the “tech guy” for all my friends and family. I consider myself an ambitious, dependable, and hardworking individual with proven analytical and technical skills. In this portfolio, one can find a variety of work that displays different skills and abilities acquired in my studies. I hope to obtain a career in networking or penetration testing, as those have been my strong suits throughout my academic career. Upon graduating, I would like to establish myself as a successful cybersecurity professional in the realm of IT. Throughout my time here at ODU, I’ve made lifelong connections and learned invaluable information that will stay with me throughout my personal and professional life.

Aside from my education, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, indulging in entertainment and video games, and spending time with those closest to me.
