Background

My name is Jordan Davis and I have recently switched my major from Computer Science to Cybersecurity. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and am in the process of moving to Virginia full time to finish out college and start a career. I compete and train on the men’s swim team here at ODU as a sprint free/back/flyer.

My Goal

My goal in this major at ODU is to graduate with a good transcript and GPA allowing me to enter a solid, stable career post-college. I want to be part of a cybersecurity team at a company keeping people’s and company’s data safe.

Status in Coursework

Currently, I am done with almost all gen ed classes, but I need to get a few 200 level courses done within the Cybersecurity ladder in order to specialize more and work towards graduation. I’m excited to keep working and learn more about Cybersecurity!
