Thank you for taking time to read my e-portfolio. The purpose of this site is to show my learning skills and bilingual abilities. Learning a second language has grown increasingly necessary as the world progresses with new communication methods and technology to promote businesses. As for me, my personal passion for animal care has led me to begin my journey at the Chesapeake Humane Society as an entry level attendant. I often run into potential adopters and medical clients who are more fluent in Spanish than in English, and although there happens to be Spanish speakers at my job, I believe it is still a crucial tool for everyone to learn. Ultimately, I am striving towards becoming a shelter manager. Management demands an abundance of communication skills, and being able to speak more than one language will be beneficial to that requirement.
