Hello, my name is Jessica Garnes, and I am pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (General Studies). My academic journey reflects my passion for understanding people, and creative expression from multiple perspectives. Through coursework in Communications, Healthcare Administration, and Dance, along with my military history, I have developed a well-rounded foundation that blends analytical thinking, leadership skills, and artistic discipline. 

My studies in Communications have strengthened my ability to effectively articulate ideas, collaborate with diverse audiences, and think critically about media and messaging. My studies in Healthcare Administration gave me more insight into organizational structures, ethical leadership, and the importance of efficient, compassionate service within healthcare systems. My background in Dance has cultivated creativity, stage presence, resilience, discipline, and an appreciation for movement as a form of storytelling and cultural expression. 

As an interdisciplinary student, I value the connections between fields and how they work together to shape communities and improve lives. My educational path has equipped me with adaptability, strong communication skills, and a holistic perspective that I plan to apply in both professional and community settings.
