My name is Jordyn Renae Hicks. My home town is Richmond,Virginia. I choose Old Dominion University because this University feels like home. ODU has always been my dream school because the nursing program is one of the top nursing programs today. The school is very diverse and has opportunities that I want to engage in. My hobbies are cooking, shopping, spending time with family, watching movies and listening to music. I learned to cook when I was 8 and its just been a hobby ever sence. I love fashion and to set trends. I am very family oriented, my family mean the world to me they always support me no matter what. I love watching mystery movies, it brings such anxiety to wanting to know what happens next. I love listening to music through out the day, it keeps me focused and takes my mind off of stress.

A fun fact about me is that I have traveled to Bahamas, Jamaica and Turks and Caicos. Also I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with my CPR license. I have obtained my certification when I was 17 years old.I have worked at three different Health and Rehabilitations for a little over a year.
