Hello, my name is Joe Collier. I have always been interested in technology and figuring out how things work. That interest led me back to school to earn my A.A.S in Computer Networking Technology from Mountain Empire Community College. Now I am continuing my education at Old Dominion University and learning more about cybersecurity.

I have worked in technical support for over ten years, troubleshooting and helping people solve problems is a big part of what I do. I feel like this will help me in my goal to move further into the IT and Cybersecurity field. I want to learn more about networking, security, and how we can better protect people and their information from cyber threats.

I am still learning and have plenty more to learn, but that is what I enjoy about technology. I hope this ePortfolio shows some things I have learned, the work I have completed, and how I continue to grow throughout my coursework. I want to take what I learn in school, combine it with my real-world experience, and use it to start the next chapter of my career.
